Here you will find important information on the league.

The Greater DuPage Pony Baseball Association (GDPBA) Pony League will field 30 teams in 2009. Play began on April 18 and will continue through the end of June.

Seven communities make up the GDPBA Pony League: Addison, Bolingbrook, Darien, Lemont, Romeoville and Woodridge. The league is growing and other neighboring communities that are interested in joining the league are encouraged to learn more from this website and by contacting the league directors.

The Pony League is made up of two divisions. Both divisions play 7 inning games with full rules baseball on a Pony League sized field; bases are 80 feet apart and the pitchers rubber is 54 feet from home plate.

Parents are required to read and sign a code of conduct policy that is enforced throughout the year. As such, parents are not allowed to question umpire calls. Only a team's manager can address the umpires. Any abuse or intimidation, either verbal or physical, of an umpire, manager or coach will not tolerated.

Any adult in violation of the rules set forth in the code of conduct will be banned from attending future games and the child will be prohibited from participating until the issue is resolved through a written apology is delivered from the offending parent to the umpire, coach, manager or parent.
